West Haven is a city in Weber County, Utah (UT). It was incorporated on July 1, 1991, combining the unincorporated communities of Kanesville and Wilson. West Haven, UT had a 2020 population of 18,926, making it the 49th largest city in Utah and the 1954th largest city in the United States. West Haven is currently growing at a rate of 5.22% annually and its population has increased by 84.25% since the 2010 census, which recorded a population of 10,272. Spanning over 10 miles, West Haven has a population density of 1,809 people per square mile.
West Haven is located approximately 35 miles north of Salt Lake City, west of the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah. The confluence of the Weber and Ogden Rivers is located inside the northeastern portion of the city. The city is bordered on the east by Ogden, on the south by Roy, on the west by Hooper, and on the north by Marriott-Slaterville. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
